{August 18, 2009}   A New Beginning

Ok Ok…I will admit that I have been a slacker on my workouts and eating right after the 4th of July. All the hard work I did at the gym and refusing the good but bad for you food has been thrown out the window. Arg!!!!! I have no one to blame but myself.

Today is a new beginning. I have weighed and measured myself and this morning I did my “tummy workout”. Tonight I will do my ball exercises and 50 jumping jacks.

My first goal is to loose 6 pounds by September 19 and if I do, I get a pedicure :)

Hopefully next week I can purchase the Wii Fit. Jay and I agreed since he has bought at least one video game per year since we have been married I can splurge and purchase the Wii Fit. I am so excited!!!

I am not happy to be posting this but come September 19 I know this will all change.

The stats: Weight: 153

                      Bust: 37

                     Stomach: 35

                     Butt: 40 1/2 (dang that this is big!!!!)

                     Thigh: 26 1/4

 Ok…well I will let you all (ha-ha the 2 people that read this) know if I meet my goal. Please keep me in your prayers and as always…I will take any encouraging words/motivational tips you have to give!!!



{June 22, 2009}   ummm…yea

Ok…so I have not lost anymore weight…but I have not gained any either. I did not get the chance to go to the gym as much last week. I could give you all my excuses…but they wouldn’t do any good. Starting tomorrow…I am walking again at lunch and eating correctly…with NO cheating!!!

I measured two weeks ago and my legs and arms were the same but I LOST 1.5 inches in my stomach….wooohooo!!!!!!!!!

There have been too many parties and too much junk food…starting today, party or not, no junk food until 4th of July weekend. After 4th of July weekend…I am back at this until I am down to where I want to be and am happy with with my body again.

This is where YOU come in to play, I NEED YOUR HELP  to stick to this. If you are with me remind me of what I need to do to get my body back…if you are not with me…email me txt me  at any given time and PLEASE encourage me…I NEED IT!!!!!!!!!!



{June 8, 2009}   Under 150…woohoo

So I stepped on the scale this morning (not sure how accurate it is) but it said I am under 150…wooohooo. This means I have lost at least 2 pounds since I started. This is not as much as I would have liked but at least it is something. I am doing weight training at the gym so that might be part of it. I need to measure my stomach and thighs again and go over to Tiff’s to check my BMI on the Wii again.

Tiff and I walked for about and hour and 15 minutes last night around my neighborhood and to church and back a total of about 3.5 miles. Then I headed off to the gym and worked out for about 40 minutes. The treadmill said I burned 300 calories…woohoo!!!

Today I will walk on my lunch hour, eat strawberries and rice cakes for lunch and go to the gym tonight after my nephew’s preschool graduation.

I think i need to set a new goal…no to loose 15 pounds by the 4th of July but to be a size 6/8 by the 4th of July right now I am a 10/12. This way I can work on the muscles and cardio and not focus so much on the pounds….what do you think???



{June 4, 2009}   Not so good :(

Well…this week has not gone so good…it’s “that time of the month” and well…I have not felt like working out, I want to eat chocolate and all the “good” stuff!!!! I have resisted chocolate for the most part, all though I did eat 2 Andy’s Mint yesterday and had 1 half spoon of Rocky Road last night.

I walked Monday and Tuesday on lunch even though I did not feel like it. Tuesday I got up early and did my 5 Day Abs video and last night I did some workout with my exercise ball. I am going home for lunch today and am going to do the Pilate’s workout and then go walk around the farmer’s market tonight.

Please pray for me that I can get this done and stick to it!!! Like I have said before…any motivation and encouragement is always welcome :)



{May 29, 2009}   Workouts going good!!!

I have worked out everyday this week!!!! YAY ME!!!!! My abs and legs are really feeling it. I have not lost any weight but I know the time is coming. I have been eating Special K for breakfast and smaller portions for lunch and dinner. Tiffany and I walked yesterday to Granada High and back…about 2 miles (give or take). I plan to walk on my lunch today and have a yogurt and oatmeal for lunch…oh yumm…LOL.

I would love to get my husbands bike and start riding at night…I really enjoy bike riding more than walking but we will see???

{May 26, 2009}   Hello world!

I started this blog to help motivate me to start losing weight and to help me get my body back!!!! I have not stepped on a scale in a couple weeks so tomorrow morning I will do so and let you know how disgustingly fat I am. Then on a weekly basis, the same day each week, I will weigh myself and post it.  I will also be posting a picture of me in a swim suite on a monthly basis to encourage myself to keep up the work.

My goals will be to drink 3 cups of water a day (this is a lot for me…now I drink none!!!) walk/jog every evening, do Pilate’s and my tummy work out on a daily basis. I want to lose 15 pounds in a month…think I can do it?!???? We will see :)
